Marvelous
Mother's Day
Show her she’s the World’s Best Mom with a dinner table tribute.
Start off with happy memories – home movies on the VCR and Ella
Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong’s Ella & Louis Again
CD. To create an Elegant Tabletop,
cover the table with white lace and tie white napkins with framed photos
of mom with each guest. To make photo napkin rings (that double as take-home
favors), copy old photos, slip them in mini silver frames (available at
craft stores) and hot-glue the frames to a piece of pink wired ribbon
that ties around the napkin. Reward mom for all those home-cooked meals
with one of your own - Pepper Peach Chicken
Skewers, Ice-Blended Limeade
and a charming Cupcake Bouquet (see recipe below) that serves as a sweet
centerpiece.
Cupcake Bouquet
Always appropriate, these cupcakes are perfect for any and every gathering.
Make two or more and use them as beautiful and edible table centerpieces.
